Shamrock Sailing Adventures

It is fall of 2008. We are deeply implanted in Baltimore, MD. As Jennifer likes to say, "we have swallowed the anchor". For the first time in 3 years we are not heading south and wintering in the Bahamas or the Florida Keys.

"Where did this come from?", you may ask. Over the years we have been getting a little weary schlepping up and down the IntraCoastal Waterway. We decided to spend a year or two in Baltimore because of the museums, events, art scene, restaurants and bars. So we both got jobs.   Really!   Jennifer is working part time as a Quality Assurance tester for an online education firm. John is teaching statistics one night a week in the Math department at The College of Notre Dame of Maryland. OK! So they're not real jobs. But they bring in a little cash and keep us floating in these shaky financial times.

Are we done sailing? No way! Just a break for a year or two and then off we go refreshed again. In the meantime check our logs from our sailing adventures below. Or send us email at svshamrock @ att.net. We would love to hear from you.
